Grizzly bear shot up the North Fork

Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks game wardens and U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service agents are seeking information on a grizzly bear that was shot and killed in the Hay Creek and Moran Creek area up the North Fork on Nov. 12. The initial report was made to FWP by hunter in the area.

FWS is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the conviction of the person responsible for killing this grizzly bear. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call FWS at 406-761-2286 or FWP at 1-800-TIPMONT. Callers may remain anonymous.

The case remains under investigation, and no further information was released at this time.
