Opposes Daines

I wouldn’t vote for Steve Daines because he has avoided the real issues.

First of all, I don’t think being the son of a marine is a qualification that carries much weight. I’m the son of a marine and a combat wounded veteran myself, and I don’t see a correlation between political office and the military — or Dick Cheney could have served with me in Vietnam.

I would like to see where Steve Daines stands on any issue, besides where I will be buried or showing up at a wildfire photo op and not exploring the possibility of anthropogenic climate change.

Where does he stand on the real issues? Does Walmart need to be subsidized to the tune of a billion dollars a year to build facilities they would have built anyway? Should Montana claim federal lands and sell them to the appropriate monied interests? Should Burger King avoid paying taxes here where they make the money by moving their headquarters to Canada?

Or does he have to get permission from his party bosses to explore the issues?
