Candidate has UN links

| October 14, 2014 8:03 AM

Democrat candidate for Flathead County Commissioner Stacey Schnebel in the media excoriated Phil Mitchell for not sharing his supporters. She goes on to pledge support for “sustainable development” and “smart growth, the twin pillars of the mal-named local entity that is always suing the county over property rights.

Smart growth groups use the Delphi technique that was developed by the Rand Corporation for the Air Force, which was designed to produce pre-determined outcomes in a group-think setting. As a result, the Flathead County Commissioners involved have subsequently retired or been replaced. Smart growth planner Jeff Harris was also run out of Flathead County.

This local entity, a nonprofit, happens to be a regular attendee of commissioner meetings, making demands that if not met will be followed by lawsuits from themselves or one of many other radical environmental groups who are responsible for shutting down our forests, shuttering lumber mills and losing our jobs.

Yes, this network of interconnected nonprofits is constantly in the courts to impose their will on the local citizens. Yes, Stacey, your advocacy positions are well represented by these shadowy groups. Transparency, forget about it.

Lest I forget, Stacey, you make further reference to concerns of marketing Montana in future years. I suppose this is relevant to you, being in the hospitality industry in the Canyon. But Stacey, what about the shutting down of the forests under the UN Agenda’s “sustainable development” and “smart growth” policies.

Stacey, you have made it clear what you are for and are not — an independent.

Let me conclude by saying I will be supporting Phil Mitchell, the Republican candidate for Flathead County Commissioner.
