The Columbia Falls boys soccer team ended their season with two more losses. The Wildcats lost to Polson 7-1 in an away game Oct. 9 and then wrapped up a tough season with a 4-1 loss to Whitefish at home on Oct. 11. The Cats ended the year 2-10 overall and 1-7 in conference play.

Bailey Griffith scored the Cats’ lone goal against the Pirates — a penalty kick five minutes into the contest.

Against Whitefish, Jacob Grein had the Cats’ only goal on an assist from Keenan Jessat at the 17-minute mark to tie the game 1-1.

The Cats had only two players on the bench as the program continued through some lean years. Brandon Karberg did a nice job in the net against the Bulldogs, turning away 15 shots.
