Lucille loved knowledge and music, and pursued several college degrees in speech communication, theater and music. She was very talented musically, not only singing but playing piano and harp.
She was preceded in death by her grandson Wallace N. Clark III and her older brother Eugene, who was killed on Midway Island on June 4, 1942.
She is survived by her children Roy Countryman, of Hot Springs, Carol Holmes, of Merced, Calif., Cherie Clark, of Livingston, and Keith Countryman, of Kalispell; grandchildren Brenda Lucille Kennedy, of Bozeman, and Ron, Terry, Grace, Carrie, Charles and Keenan; and six great grandchildren.
Until the end, she charmed us with her dazzling smile, corrected our grammar, bestowed little-known information on Napoleon, and encouraged us not to let the world get us down.
