Deer illegally shot and wasted

Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks game wardens are seeking information related to illegal killing and wasting of numerous deer along the entire length of Farm to Market Road and west of Kalispell towards Kila.

FWP reports that most of this activity likely occurred at night, presumably with the aid of artificial light, a spotlight.

According to Warden Capt. Lee Anderson, while there had been some reprieve from this type of illegal activity following the recent prosecution of several locals charged with game violations, wardens are concerned that this type of activity is occurring again.

Anyone with information about this matter is urged to call 1-800-TIPMONT. Callers can remain anonymous, and anyone with information leading to a conviction may be eligible for a reward.
