Montana needs representatives in Washington that look out for our best interests. Montanans love to hunt and fish, but we also need access to good schools and strong infrastructure. We need good-paying jobs.

Montana can protect its wild places while supporting industries that responsibly develop our natural resources at the same time, and Steve Daines gets it.

Steve has been a champion for conservation while also leading the fight for revitalizing our timber industry. His bill, H.R. 1526, will improve forest health by strengthening environmental laws so that timber projects important to address beetle kill and prevent wildfires aren’t stopped in their tracks.

Legislation like this is both critical to protect our outdoor heritage while also creating jobs and ensuring our forested counties receive the revenue they need to support schools and infrastructure. I want to vote for someone who understands Montana. And Steve gets it.
