Bear theft

To the thieves of the Bad Rock Books Cancer Awareness Bear:

1) If you had been human enough to come into the store and ask to borrow it, we would have helped you to get it off the roof and not leave behind the stand which you left on the ground.

2) You could have done it safely with a ladder and not risked the chance of falling in the dark of night.

3) What you left behind really gave a big clue in who you are. Let your conscience be your guide.

To those who helped select the two colors of pink used to paint the bear, we say, “Thanks and perhaps in the near future you might help us again.”

To the local police department, thanks for your protection and service.
