Solo exhibit features outdoor art

The Hockaday Museum of Art will present “A Montana Outdoorsman Perspective,” a solo exhibition by native Montanan artist Jack Hagel, from Sept. 18 through Nov. 1.

Hagel took first place in Hockaday’s 2013 Members Salon People’s Choice Awards. His new exhibit will  feature scenes and activities familiar to those who enjoy the wild outdoors, including contemporary and Western scenes, landscapes, wildlife, hunting and fishing.

A free opening reception will be held Thursday, Sept. 25, from 5 to 7 p.m.
