Playground bully
Ever since I saw the political insert by Republican U.S. House candidate Ryan Zinke in the newspaper, I have been upset and appalled by the tone of that flier.
Zinke comes across not as a leader but more as a playground bully picking on a little kid. Ryan Zinke touts his accomplishments in the 1970s and the 1980s, while his opponent John Lewis is still a child in grade school. How does that make Zinke better qualified to be in Congress?
It gets more absurd in the 2000s as Zinke, former Navy SEAL, professional assassin, is an “unconventional warfare officer” while his Democratic opponent John Lewis graduates college with a degree in political science.
Ryan Zinke has backed out of debating John Lewis, preferring not to “stand his ground” face-to-face with his opponent, just like a playground bully whose bluff has been called.
This flier has been a most disgusting piece of campaign literature, a waste of money, and I hope it leads to Zinke’s defeat in the race as bullies are brought down on the playground.
