Bigfork runners excel in 1,600-meter relay

Gabby Eaton took first place in the pole vault, and Megan Pancoast was second. Hailey Norrad won the high jump and was second in the 200 meter and Bryn Morley had the fastest time in the 400.

Bigfork also won the 1,600-relay and took second in the 400-relay behind Plains.

Reese Nissen was fifth in high jump, and fourth in the long jump.

Riley Coleman and Miranda Campbell went fourth and fifth respectively in both the discus and the shot put.

On the boys side Matt Farrier took fifth in the 100 meter dash, followed by Adam Jordt, who took sixth.

Colton Woll was third in the 200 meter, while Logan Taylor was fifth.

Jordt won the 400. Jack Sillivan was third in the 800.

Cody Johnson took third in the 1,600 and first in the 3,200. Ryan Shaw was fourth in the 1,600 and third in the 3,200.

Carson Cantrell placed third in the 110 hurdles and first in pole vault. Woll was second in pole vault.

The boys were second in the 400 meter relay and first in the 1,600 relay.

Tyler Guinard was fourth in the long jump, followed by Taylor. Guinard was also fourth in Javelin.

Ross Coleman was third in the shot put and second in discus.

Bigfork track’s next showing will be April 7, at the Flathead Time Trials at Legends Field in Kalispell.

Bigfork High School senior Veronica Farrier doubled up with victories in the distance events in Eureka on Saturday, winning the 1,600 and 3,200.

Gabby Eaton took first place in the pole vault, and Megan Pancoast was second. Hailey Norrad won the high jump and was second in the 200 meter and Bryn Morley had the fastest time in the 400.

Bigfork also won the 1,600-relay and took second in the 400-relay behind Plains.

Reese Nissen was fifth in high jump, and fourth in the long jump.
