Richard Brower

Richard Stephen Brower, 68, passed away April 9, 2015, at Lake View Care Center in Bigfork.

Richard was born Jan. 18, 1947 in Miles City. He grew up in Montana and California. He graduated from Wilcox High School in Santa Clara, Calif., in 1965.

In 1966, Richard enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He retired 20 years later. He worked as a cook at various places until taking a job at Lake View Care Center until full retirement.

Richard volunteered for the Relay for Life events for three years, from 1997 to 2000. He enjoyed fishing.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Brower.

He is survived by his mother Lula Ruth Holt, of Columbia Falls; sister Sandra Brower, of Whitefish; and brothers Tim Brower, of Columbia Falls, and Larry Brower, of Marion.
