Elite youth baseball tryouts

Montana Elite Baseball, a nonprofit, youth sports organization, will hold tryouts for the Montana Elite Baseball 13-14 year-old team.

Tryouts take place at Westside Field in Missoula on May 9 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and at Kirk Park-South Field in Bozeman May 10 from noon to  3 p.m.

Selected and qualified Montana players will compete at the 2015 USA Team Nationals in Glendale, Ariz. The tournaments will take place June 29 through July 3.

Team USA Scouts and more than 100 college recruiters will be at this tournament, and a minimum of 28 players will be invited to the 14U National Team USA Development Program.
