15U team headed to World Series

The Glacier All-Stars won the Babe Ruth 15U Pacific Northwest Regional Championship last week to advance to the World Series in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.

Glacier opened the tourney July 28 in The Dalles, Ore. with a 12-2 victory over Riverton, Wyo.

They took a tough 7-8 loss to The Dalles the next day, but rebounded to crush Calgary 16-2 on Friday.

Glacier capped their regional title by beating Longview, Wash., 10-5, then taking down Union County 7-5 in the championship game.
