Glenn Weeks

Long time Flathead Valley resident Glenn Weeks, 78, died Jan. 30, 2015 at home.

Glenn was born March 13, 1936 in Hobart Mills, Calif. He went to school in Sloat, Calif. and Quincy, Calif. and moved to Kalispell with his family in 1979. The family moved to Hungry Horse soon after and then settled in Columbia Falls.

Glenn served with the Army and the California National Guard in the early 1960s and later worked as an engineer with the Forest Service in Quincy, Calif. and Hungry Horse.

He retired from the Forest Service in 1992. Following retirement, he bred AKC Labrador retrievers and did European taxidermy for several years.

Glenn is survived by his wife Cathy Weeks, son Karl Weeks and wife TJ, daughters Amy Weeks and Kerri Harvey, granddaughters Kelby Weeks and Rylie Weeks, and grandsons Logan Harvey and Carter Harvey, all of Columbia Falls; grandson Braedon Weggeland, of Henderson, Nev.; step grandchildren Aaron Lennick, Randi Gustave and Evan Wells, of Columbia Falls, and Justin Lennick, of Missoula; and step great grandchildren Brycen Fleming, Taven Fleming and Ryland Lennick, all of Columbia Falls.

Funeral services for Glenn will take place at the Church of Jesus Chris of Latter Day Saints, 1780 Talbott Road, Columbia Falls, on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, at11:30 a.m.
