The Columbia Falls swim team took third at the Plains Invitational last week and coach Mike Nelson said the team is showing great progress.
"Our team is starting to take form - our dives and strokes are getting better - as we prepare for divisionals here in Columbia Falls," he said.
The swim team hosts the Western Divisional July 24-25.
Youngster Sadi Cheff had another good meet. She won the 8 and under 25 yard brest stroke with a time of 27.17 seconds.
Zane McCallum won the boys 9-10 year old 50 back stroke with a time of 45.67. The team also had a host of second and third-place finishes as well.
The team travels to Conrad this weekend.
