Zinke meet and greet

Rep. Ryan Zinke will hold a meet and greet at Freedom Bank in Columbia Falls on Saturday, June 6, from 5:45 to 7:30 p.m. Topics could include cleanup at the Columbia Falls Aluminum Co. site and economic development.

FVCC meeting

Flathead Valley Community College president Jane Karas will hold a community conversation at the Nite Owl restaurant in Columbia Falls on Friday, June 12, from noon to 1 p.m. Additional public meetings have been scheduled across the valley. To RSVP or for more information, call 756-3801.

Summer camps

The Farming For The Future Academy located at the Montana Veterans Home in Columbia Falls will offer free summer camps for kids with or without disabilities. Camps include Shave a Sheep Camp on June 22-26, Rabbit Wagons on July 6-10, Dairy Days on July 20-24 and Build a Birdhouse on Aug. 3-7. Senior picnic

The Flathead County Agency on Aging will host its annual Older Americans Day picnic for seniors 60-or-older at the Flathead County Fairgrounds in Kalispell on Friday, June 19, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and doors opening at 10 a.m. There will be hamburgers, a veteran recognition program, door prize and raffle. Transportation will be provided from the North Valley Senior Center in Columbia Falls. For more information, call 758-5730.

Citizens For A Better Flathead will hold its annual Great Place raffle and summer party at the Museum At Central School in Kalispell on Friday, June 12, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Dinner tickets are $15. RSVP by calling 756-8993.
