Wants Thomson for Co-op

On March 20, ballots will be mailed to all Flathead Electric Cooperative members. This year there are three vacant trustee positions on the ballot representing Districts 2, 3 and 5. All members of the Co-op vote for each vacant position, regardless of where they reside.

As a candidate for District 2, I would like to introduce myself and encourage you to return your ballots within the allotted 30 days.

Prior to running for the Flathead Electric Co-op board, I served as chair of the Kalispell Regional Healthcare board and am currently serving on the HealthCenter board. My other community service includes being elected to the Lakeside Community Council, serving as the president of the Lakeside-Somers Chamber of Commerce and past president of the Kalispell Rotary Club.

I am willing to commit the time to fully understand the governance of the jewel that is our local Co-op. I have enjoyed a 40 year banking career and am the president of the Flathead Bank of Lakeside.

I would appreciate support from each of the districts that make up the Co-Op membership. Please consider voting for me.
