Endowment thanks

| May 4, 2015 8:00 AM

The Columbia Falls High School Academic Endowment Board wishes to thank all those who made our annual spring Academic Arts Showcase at Truby’s Fine Food and Spirits a fun and rousing success. More than $15,000, pre-expenses, was added to the endowment.

To our many generous donors of art, community services, antiques, desserts and merchandise, thank you for your support of education. To Kristin Voisen, our enthusiastic hostess, and Michael Robison, our auctioneer, it couldn’t happen without you.

Thank you student assistants and entertainers Meredith Stolte and Ava Chisholm for demonstrating the culture of academic excellence CFHS has fostered in each of you, and to which this endowment is dedicated.

To all those in attendance, you brought such enthusiasm and generosity and made the evening so enjoyable and alive. You manifest why this community is so rich in spirit and future. Thank you for supporting us.

The fabulous climactic bidding duel for Allen Jimmerson’s magnificent original acrylic between Messrs. Don Bennett and Jim Thompson, rock star-supporters of CFHS, will be long remembered by all of us. You all inspire us. We’ll see you next spring for another fun event.
