It's always fun to see the Bigfork Village transformed for Christmas

What fun it is to see our small town become a “Christmas Village” each year.  Once again volunteer “Bigfork Elves”, veterans and newbies, turned out in good numbers to do their magic.

We all should give Michele Shapero a great big “Thank You” for bravely stepping up to be the Chief Decorating Elf this year.  Only those who have previously served in a Bigfork Elf Force leadership role really understand how many loose ends must be connected in order to make the annual decoration effort successful.

I was pleased to see how well everyone found ways to work together up and down the street in order to get the job done, even when small variations from the past occurred.  The 2015 Fleet of the Bigfork Elf Force should give themselves a hardy pat on the back for their performance. Hopefully, a good number of area residents will find time to visit our Village during the Holiday Season to enjoy the atmosphere.
