Doye Lynn Greenfield

Doye Lynn Greenfield, 74 a former resident of Cushing, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016 in Billings. Services were held Jan. 11 at the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn, Parkland, Oklahoma.  Burial will follow in the Parkland Cemetery, Parkland, Oklahoma.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.

Doye was born on July 10, 1941 in Chandler, Oklahoma to Claude Harvey and Ira Mae (Jackson) Greenfield.  He grew up in Chandler, Oklahoma, attending school in Chandler, Agra and Parkland. 

Before graduation, he decided to join Air Force where he served for three years.  

He moved to Columbia Falls in 1962 where he spent 35 years. Doye had worked for Plum Creek Lumber for 30 years. In 1992 he moved to Cushing. He enjoyed racing Ford cars and was a Ford Champion.  He was a member of the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn in Cushing.

He is survived by sons, Paul Allen Greenfield of Columbia Falls; Mark Andrew Greenfield of Boise, Idaho; Dana Lynn Greenfield and wife Sandy of Evansville, Indiana; Carry Lee Greenfield and wife Heather of Billings; sister Darlene Richardson and husband Jack of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; grandchildren Caleb Greenfield  Tanner Greenfield, Abigail Greenfield, Kelly Greenfield, David Greenfield, Cameron Greenfield, Kyle Greenfield, Jessica Nelson, R.J. Greenfield, Denton Greenfield and Garrett Greenfield; and twin great grandchildren Liliana and Isabell Greenfield; and Covey Greenfield.

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandson Kelly Greenfield, nine brothers and one sister.
