Bigfork Museum of Art and History presents workshops

The Bigfork Museum of Art and History presents a series of portrait classes with artist Diana Neville-Knowles.

The Color Pastel Portrait Workshop will be Tuesday, Feb. 2, through Friday, Feb. 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

Neville-Knowles’ technique can be used by all students from novices to professional artists and can be used for much more than portraits. Participants will complete a full-color head study. No previous pastel experience required.

The Black-and-White Graphite Drawing Tablet Workshop will be Monday, Feb. 8, and Tuesday, Feb. 9, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Beginning students as well as advanced will learn and refine techniques to render facial features using models from diverse ethnicities. No previous drawing experience required.

The museum is located at 525 Electric Ave. in Bigfork.
