Frank B. Meyer
Byron Franklin “Frank” Meyer passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer to join his Lord on Oct. 10, 2015, in Choteau. Frank was an avid sportsman, ham radio enthusiast, and Good Samaritan.
He was born in Spokane, Washington in 1934, and was raised in Troy. Frank served in the Navy and participated in the atomic bomb clean-up in the Bikini Islands. He worked as a lead saw filer in Montana and Washington.
Frank is survived by his sons Rick, Doug, Ken and Donny Meyer; daughters Becky Cossey, Catherine Wrights, Dorothy Meyer and Molly Britt; and an abundance of cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers, Forest, Don, and Dale. In 2006 Frank suffered the loss of his son, Rich and in his final days looked forward to being with him and God in heaven.
A Celebration of Frank’s life will be held on his birthday, April 16, 2016 at the Columbia Falls Community Center at 3:30 p.m. at 235 Nucleus Avenue in Columbia Falls. Please join his family and share memories and swap stories of Frank.
