Leland Carl Hulit

Leland Carl Hulit, 77 of Grand Bay, Alabama passed from this life on Sunday, May 15, 2016 in Pascagoula. 

Hulit was born December 3, 1938 in Kalispell. 

He retired after 20 years of service with the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a devoted husband and father. 

Mr. Hulit was preceded in death by his father and mother, Phil and Merle Hulit; son, Philip Hulit; brothers, Jack and Carl; and sister, Molly. Survivors include his loving wife, Peggy Hulit of Grand Bay, Alabama; three children, Rick Guinn and wife Jackie of Kalispell; Dana Hayward of Grand Bay, Alabama; and Lonna Hayward of Pascagoula, Mississippi; grandchildren, Megan Danielson and husband John; Malachi, Martin, Jarrett, Tarin, Kellan, Zarin and Christopher; great-grandchildren, Malachi III, and Malani; sisters, Dixie LaValley and husband Tom, Vera Prichard and husband Forrest; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
