TRACK: Bigfork boys claim 2nd at state meet

BOZEMAN — Logan Morley completed this stellar prep career by dominating the distance events with victories in the 800 (1:57.14) and 3,200 (9:40.84) on the final day of action.

He won the 1,600 (4:18.16) on Friday. Those performances helped Bigfork finish third in the team standings with 47 points.

Manhattan, 114, was an easy winner. Jefferson, 63, was second.

The Bigfork girls were second, 50 points, well behind team champion Malta, 71.

The Valkyries won the 1,600 relay with Jordan Nelson, Mattison McAnally, Alicia Kalenak, Haile Norred checking in with a time of 4:09.28. They finished five seconds ahead of second place Choteau.
