A 24-year-old woman admitted to taking part in the burglary of a sawmill back in May 2016.

Kalispell resident Shannon Rae Donovan pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary on March 30 in Flathead District Court.

Donovan was identified as one of two people caught on camera breaking into the building on Whitefish State Road and taking more than $1,500 worth of tools and equipment.

Officers located several of the items reported missing in Donovan’s vehicle. Donovan then admitted to being present during the burglary.

Judge Heidi Ulbricht revoked Donovan’s three-year deferred imposition, which she incurred in 2016 for a theft charge.

Donovan was scheduled for sentencing on June 15.

If convicted she could face up to 20 years in prison and a $50,000 fine for each count of burglary, in addition to having to pay any restitution to the victim(s).
