Betty J. Hills, 82

Betty “Jeanie” Hills, of Kalispell, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. She was 82.

Jeanie was born in Kalispell on June 22, 1934. She grew up in the Kila area. She married Robert “Harold” Hills in Kalispell on Jan. 6, 1951. They moved to Libby in 1959 and resided there for 29 years before returning to Kalispell.

She is survived by loving children Steve (JoAnne) Hills of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Kathy (Dane) Hamilton of Big Delta, Alaska, and Corey (Dorothea Schaeffer) Hills of Kalispell and seven loving grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Jeanie is also survived by brothers Denny (Mimi) Michels of Diamond-head, Mississ-ippi, and Jerry (Sharon) Michels of Libby and sister-in-law Sue Michels of Kalispell, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeanie was predeceased by her husband, Harold, her parents, Roger and Blanche Michels, and brother Allen Michels.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 7, at Glacier Memorial Gardens.
