Stuffed animals found in wooded grave

While walking in the woods off Tally Lake Road, a woman reported finding a rectangle of earth that had been recently dug up. According to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office, when she and her boyfriend dug in the spot with a stick, they allegedly discovered several stuffed animals buried and stopped digging for fear of what else they would find.

A hot-and-heavy romance between two dogs ended with the two being stuck together with the female dog’s owner unable to pry them apart. The owner reported the incident, concerned that she could not leave for work until she had put her dog away.

Dispatch received a call from a man threatening to shoot and kill a Columbia Falls police officer. The man said he had been threatened by an officer and that he was “not going to take it” and had his guns ready.

A man’s dog keeps picking up cooked meat that he suspects someone is leaving on his property. The man said he has no idea where the meat is coming from but it does not appear to have anything wrong with it.

Residents of Shawnee Drive are “frustrated” with a group of kids reportedly “getting wild” in the area. The suspects apparently misbehave when the owners of the residence leave, spinning “brodies” and driving recklessly down the road.

Three cows went missing from their home on Wildcat Road.
