Indie film festival coming to Bigfork
The creators of the Bigfork Film Festival have announced a new spring event, hosting the first Bigfork Indie Film Festival, Saturday, May 6, to screen six independent films created by local filmmakers.
The festival takes place at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts and includes two full-length feature movies and four short films. The evening will be split into two blocks, with the first screening at 5:30 p.m. and the second block beginning at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 per block.
Block one includes “Child Inside,” “Fred Donahue” and full-length feature “Silk Trees.” Block two also begins with two shorts — “First Time Out” and “Songbird” — and ends with the festival’s second feature, “The Beast.” After each feature film, the filmmakers will participate in a question and answer session.
