Renters on rooftop get rowdy

Several individuals renting the basement of a house on East Evergreen Drive were reportedly seen causing a disturbance by sitting on the roof of the residence with a cooler, yelling at people passing by, according to a Kalispell Police report.

A black and white pit bull with a bloody nose was found on 3rd Avenue West and taken to the county shelter.

A large multicolored purse was found at a café on Somers Road. The owner of the restaurant said the purse would be kept at the café until Monday or Tuesday.

Someone’s dogs reportedly chased a mother fox from a property, causing her to leave her baby behind. The owner of the dogs told Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies she would put the fox kit in a crate out of reach of her dogs with the door left open in hopes that the mother fox would come back for it.

A brown and white husky mix was seen chasing deer near Rose Crossing. Authorities were unable to locate the dog.

An alleged drug deal was reported at Cynthia Drive.

Prowlers were allegedly heard outside a house on Third Avenue South. The man reporting the incident said he heard the voices of a male and female but did not believe they tried to gain entry into the house.

A woman contacted authorities when she allegedly detected a strong odor of nail polish remover outside her house on Post Street. Authorities advise this can be an indicator of a meth lab in the area. Upon investigation, Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies found no signs of unsafe levels of any chemicals that would indicate the production of methamphetamine.

Someone reported hearing five gunshots and an explosion near Highland Drive. Deputies responding to the scene could not find the source of the shots and found no evidence of foul play.

The portable toilets at the tennis courts near Libby’s City Hall were allegedly knocked over.

A Chihuahua/Dachshund mix wearing a black and green coat was lost somewhere near U.S. 2.
