A caller on 12th Street West believed several kids riding motorized scooters were too young to have a driver’s license. The kids were told to walk the scooters home, according to Columbia Falls Police Department.

An abandoned vehicle on Nucleus Avenue was reported after a caller stated that it had been there for four days. The owner of the vehicle was found and it was determined that the vehicle was not abandoned.

A caller reported that she had allegedly been scammed out of $3,000 after she was contacted by someone who asked her to pay a jail bond for a friend of hers.

A caller on Silverleaf Drive told Whitefish Police that a cargo van had been parked at the same location for about a week. The caller said he didn’t think the owner of the van was related to anyone in the neighborhood. The man was asked to move along.

A dark green sleeping bag was found over an embankmant near Highway 93 South. The caller was concerned that someone might be inside the sleeping bag, but officers determined that it was empty and wet.

A transient allegedly urinated on the sidewalk on West Second Street. The caller stated that the man was hanging out on the street outside the caller’s house, and that he had a bike and appeared to be lost.

A caller on O’Brien Avenue reported that the dogs across the street had been barking for a couple hours straight, and that it had been an ongoing problem all day. The dogs also had allegedly defecated on the caller’s yard several times before.

An intoxicated pedestrian was found on Baker Avenue passed out in the ditch. The man was transported to the hospital.
