Sykes, Berreth win Libby Invite

LIBBY — Libby’s Jhamaal Sykes and Bigfork’s Ellie Berreth won the singles titles at the Libby Invitational.

Skyes topped Bigfork’s Alex Buenz for the title at No. 1-2 singles and Berretth beat Troy’s Allie Brown. Whitefish’s Noah Fauth beat teammate Mark Anderson to take No. 3-4 boys singles and Bigfork’s Ahna Fox beat Cut Bank’s Cidney Claycomb to take No. 3-4 girls singles.

Brandon Buls and Thomas Carloss of Whitefish won the boys dobles bracket. The girls doubles final, played between a pair of Libby teams, did not finish.
