Bigfork's Stodghill wins in Seeley Lake
SEELEY LAKE — Bigfork’s Colton Stodghill shot a 5-over-par 77 to pick up medalist honors at the Seeley-Swan Invitational on Tuesday at Double Arrow Lodge.
Stodghill tied for the top score with Seeley-Swan’s Malachi Nicholas, each two strokes better than the next closest golfer. Bigfork’s Brandon Hopkins tied for eighth and Chase Pacheco tied for 15th to help the Vikings to a tie for second place at the meet.
Seeley-Swan placed three golfers in the top 10 to win its host meet, which was scored as a Class C meet, counting the top three golfers per team. Ronan finished in fourth with three golfers in the top 15.
Thompson Falls won the girls team title, placing its top three golfers in the top six finishers.
Ronan finished second with Brooklyn Olson taking medalist honors by carding a 94, winning the meet by four strokes. Bigfork finished third as a team, led by Isabella Santistevan, who tied for fourth.
