Anita Ellis, 87
Anita Ellis, a longtime resident of Bigfork, passed away on April 9, 2017. She was 87 years old.
Anita was born in Barrington, New Jersey, on March 5, 1930, to loving parents, Stuart and Virginia Ellis. When Anita’s father, Stuart passed away, she moved to La Belle, Florida, to help her mother.
She worked throughout her entire life, having worked for the FBI in Philadelphia for five years; RCA in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, for 10 years; RCA in Hollywood, California, for five years; and the New Mexico Magazine, in Santa Fe, New Mexico, for eight years.
Anita’s parents, Stuart David Ellis and Virginia Blanche Ellis, preceded her in death. Also, many grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins that Anita grew up with are deceased. All were dearly loved.
The remaining family members are Robert Schooner, cousin; Donna Bostard, cousin; Harriett Elias, cousin; Barbara Ann DeSantis, niece; and Barbara Ellis, cousin. Also remaining are her son, Michael, and wife Karen, and granddaughters Erin and Kathryn.
Anita lived in Bigfork for 34 years. She had many friends here. She worked in Bigfork for many years. A frequent comment made by those who knew her was that she had “a good heart.” Anita will be missed. She is now with her beloved family in heaven.
