Nancy P. Burns, 61
Nancy P. Burns, 61, of Columbia Falls, passed away on Friday, April 14, in her home.
She was born on Oct. 7, 1955, in Washington D.C.
She was survived by her husband Don Burns, daughter Amanda Carlson, son Joshua Blackburn, stepdaughters Emily Stone, Donna Martinsen, and Monica Mendive and foster son Brian Bostwick. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and her brother William Polsgrove.
Nancy had several careers in her life, ranging from teaching, screen printing and working as a CNA. Her passion was her family. She was an avid gardener and loved to cook large family meals. She loved having a full house and a dinner table full of friends, family and great food. She was passionate about volunteering for Spay Neuter clinics and loved her pets, and believed you could never have too many furry friends.
A celebration of life is planned for 4:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 6, at the Montana Veterans Home Columbia Falls in the old chapel.
