Little piggies cry all the way home

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report of dozen domestic pigs allegedly seen squealing down Montana 35. The bovine buds reportedly escaped from a farm off the highway. The owners of the pigs were found to be out of town, and a man who was allegedly watching the property was called to use a bucket of grain to lead the pigs home.

A woman wearing pajamas was reportedly seen sitting on a guardrail by a passerby. The woman told responding officers that her boyfriend had allegedly shoved her out of a moving car and took off in her vehicle. She claimed to have nine broken ribs and stated she wanted to pursue charges. The woman was taken to the hospital for medical evaluation.

A business on Montana 35 reportedly found several gallons of what he believed was motor oil stacked in front of the door of his business.

A gray-haired man was reported for threatening an employee at a business on Pleasant Valley Road and refusing to leave when asked. The man allegedly left on an ATV prior to law enforcement arrival. Officers located the man and found that he had two warrants out for his arrest.

A rogue dog was reported for sneaking over to his neighbor’s house and pooping on the lawn, according to Whitefish Police.

Two teenage boys were reported for stealing “a giant condom” and male enhancement pills from a store on Central Avenue.

A yellow lab was reportedly seen running loose on East Third Street.

A man reported several items stolen out of his vehicle on U.S. 93 South.

A group of intoxicated people was reportedly seen stumbling into traffic on Nucleus Avenue, according to Columbia Falls Police. One of the parties involved was allegedly holding two beers.

Someone reported multiple drivers for parking in front of a fire hydrant near a swimming pool.

A loaded gun was reported stolen from a resident of 15th Avenue West.

A woman told officers her son was allegedly drugged at a party on Airport Road, and when he came to, his gun had reportedly been stolen.

After her horses allegedly escaped their pasture, a woman found someone had reportedly cut her fence to allow them to get out. The woman suspected an ex-boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend of the crime and said she planned to install cameras in case it happened again.

A large brown bull was reportedly seen wandering through a resident’s yard on Smith Lake Road. Law enforcement was unable to locate the bull.

A small white Yorkie mix was found on Shady Lane and taken to the county shelter.

A resident on Montana 206 reported a “strange kid” for coming to his house to fix a broken toilet. The resident told the child he did not have a broken toilet and the boy left, allegedly cutting through an open field and walking to an abandoned trailer.

While out walking with her children, a woman reported a large black bull standing in her yard preventing her from returning home.

Someone was reportedly riding a horse when the horse flipped over onto the rider. The rider was taken to the hospital.

A man reported a drone fly over his house and asked dispatch if he could shoot it down. Unhappy when told not to, the man asked to talk with a deputy.

Someone reportedly struck a light pole with their vehicle and then took off, leaving the fallen pole in the road.

A concerned owner reported their cat missing from its home on Shaugnessy Hill. According to Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, the cat was described as brown striped with a white throat and feet and a bushy tail.

Vandals reportedly spray painted two company trucks and some apartments on Farm to Market Road.
