Man with spam tries unplugging computer

Flathead County Sheriff’s officers advised a man to unplug his computer until he got a “real computer expert” to clear up issues caused by an alleged scam. The caller said someone had somehow accessed his computer, resulting in the device showing him web pages he didn’t want to see.

Officers arrested a woman who was allegedly drunk, getting ready “to attack” and nearly ran over someone with her car in Hungry Horse.

Officers assisted a man who said someone allegedly tried to fight him after a court hearing. The caller said the man had offered to take the fight outside, to which the caller said he responded “are you serious?”

A man captured two bats flying near his Whitefish home and put them in a bucket in case they had rabies. Officers instructed him to call the Flathead City-County Health Department.

Officers answered the questions of a Kalispell man who said his neighbors are constantly hitting golf balls into the pasture where he has horses.

Officers were unable to locate two horses reportedly roaming in the middle of Browns Meadow Road in Kila.

A man allegedly “preferred to yell at dispatch about how awful we are to people” rather than giving officers more information regarding a tractor he said was going to fast near Kalispell.

An allegedly old, blind dog that wore a brown muzzle was found wandering around Columbia Falls without tags. The animal was taken to the Flathead County Animal Shelter.

A Kalispell woman told officers she was knocked down by a man while she tried to get her belongings out of his house. The man allegedly also kicked the woman’s dog before it ran away. Then, the man allegedly began throwing all of the woman’s stuff out of his house as well as throwing rocks at nearby vehicles.

A woman told Whitefish Police that she chased a black and tan dog that was allegedly foaming at the mouth out of her yard off Baker Ave.

A caller said a “bunch of young people” were allegedly trespassing on his neighbor’s yard off Woodland Place.

Columbia Falls Police arrested a man seen crawling through a neighbor’s window on a house along 4th Avenue West.

A person with Glacier County told officers his vehicle was stolen and is now allegedly in Hungry Horse. He said he saw a person on Facebook post a photo of his missing property.

Officers advised a woman to call her phone company about the options she has to deal with a restricted number that allegedly made “obscene” calls to her at night. The woman said the man calling had been “escalating.”

Officers advised two juveniles they were out past curfew.
