Grandson spooks sleeping grandma

A woman reported to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office that a man was pounding on her windows at night. Terrified, the woman refused to look out the window to see who it was. It was her grandson.

A bartender at a casino reportedly started “pounding shots” as soon as she started her shift. The woman reportedly became aggressive when confronted about her drinking. The reporting person asked deputies to hurry out of fear that the woman would get someone to cover her shift and then drive home drunk.

A teen was reportedly seen smoking marijuana while driving down West Idaho Street.

A passerby reported seeing a fridge or freezer on the side of Edgewood Drive. The driver expressed concern that a child would get trapped inside.

A toddler was reportedly found wandering down Pheasant Drive alone. Officers responded and located the child’s father.

Someone reportedly attempted to break into a home off Montana 35 while the resident was home. The homeowner said she could hear someone jiggling the door handle and then said she heard a truck “peel out” of her driveway prior to officers’ arrival.

A man reported his neighbor for allegedly stealing a generator from his yard. When dispatch informed the man he had already reported the incident, he allegedly said he wanted to take a gun and go over to get it back himself.

An attempted break-in was reported at a storage unit on First Avenue Northwest.

A woman was reportedly walking her dog in a forest when a woman with two other dogs off-leash approached her. When the dogs approached, the reporting person said her own dog pulled on its leash and dislocated her shoulder. The woman complained about her medical bills piling up. Officers informed the woman that there is no leash law in the county and that the woman could not be held responsible for her injury.

An ex-employee of a mechanic shop was reported for allegedly trying to sabotage the business by calling customers and threatening them. The employee was reportedly fired for stealing from customers.
