Ronan man charged in fatality case
A Ronan man has been charged in the Aug. 20 death of Jessie Qualtier, 36, of Ronan.
Roland James Browne, 39, is currently in custody at Lake County Jail on two counts of criminal endangerment with a $50,000 bond, according to a press release from Lake County Sheriff Don Bell.
According to Bell’s statement, Qualtier died of injuries he sustained after “exiting a vehicle which was traveling eastbound on East Post Creek” at 5:45 p.m.
His death is still currently under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff/Coroner’s Office, Montana Highway Patrol, and Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribal Police Department.
