Unintended severance package
The Whitefish Police Department logged a call from a transportation firm employee claiming that an ex-employee had been running up expenses on a gas card.
A caller reported that a car had been parked for 20-30 minutes with a dog inside, and that the canine might be cold.
A prank caller reportedly had the tables turned on him when the person he had called phoned back and made multiple threats Friday.
An allegedly intoxicated male told officers that his cut-off 911 call had been a pocket dial, and that he was walking from one bar to another. “Other than intoxicated, he sounded 10-4,” police logs noted.
The Kalispell Police Department responded to two reported hit-and-runs on U.S. 93 North, and one each on U.S. 93 South and Airport Road.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to reports of a power line emergency on Deer Trail.
Whitefish firefighters also responded to a reported gas odor/carbon monoxide exposure on Delrey Road.
