Nancy Margaret Uskoski, 92, passed away Saturday Dec. 2, 2017, at the Brendan House in Kalispell. Nancy was born March 19, 1925, in Gackle, North Dakota to Louie and Martha (Homola) Dormanen.
Nancy married Francis Uskoski on Aug. 20, 1946. They enjoyed 66 years of marriage. She was a housewife and in later years worked as a nurse’s aide in a retirement home. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family. Nancy was a life-long member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church.
She is survived by seven sons, Bob and Ann Uskoski of Ridgefield, Washington, Rod and Faye Uskoski of Kalispell, Mike and Cheryl Uskoski of Kalispell, Randy and Melinda Uskoski of Battle Ground, Washington, Dick and Jennifer Uskoski of Kalispell, Stanley and Elizabeth Uskoski of Kalispell and Joe and Carla Uskoski of Battle Ground, Washington; five daughters Cynthia and Wayne Pekkala of Palmer, Alaska, Carol and Jim Pegoraro of Battle Ground, Washington, Janet and Henry Patteri of Kalispell, Lori and Ben Heidegger of Dayton and Sara and Dave Hofmann of Battle Ground, Washington; 78 grandchildren, many great and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of Christian friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Francis, infant daughter Bonnie Ann, parents, one brother, six sisters and her dear grandfather John Homola, Aunt Katy, and Uncle John Homola. Also granddaughter Ginger Ann Uskoski and great-grandson Quinn Pekkala.
Funeral services for Nancy will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church in Lakeside. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the funeral service. Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for the Uskoski family.
