Police: Get your ducks off the road
According to the Kalispell Police Department, law enforcement officers counseled a person who was feeding ducks in the road.
Two women were reportedly “very disgruntled” and one tried to strangle the other.
A teenager who reportedly was supposed to be at a “ranch for kids” asked a resident if he could sleep there for the night.
A front desk employee said a couple of guys in the parking lot had been drinking and were talking loudly. He asked if officers could ask them to quiet down for the night.
A poodle got into a resident’s yard. The home owner had it contained and wanted it picked up.
A man said he was attacked by a dog near the front entrance to a motel. There was only one dog registered at the motel, but the dog-bite victim said that wasn’t that dog that bit him.
According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle with Kalispell plates passed another vehicle going 80 to 90 mph over a double line.
A woman said she’s been trying to call her grandmother for three days but her phone is off the hook.
A 24-year-old man asked if he could “date” an 18-year old woman. He was advised to make sure she was 18.
According to the Whitefish Police Department, a woman who reportedly got a DUI was given her license back, but she wanted to make sure it wasn’t suspended or revoked. Later, the woman reported money missing from her vehicle when she picked it up from the auto shop.
A caller gave a tip to police about theft suspects posted on social media.
