Lorraine Schmidt Sokalowski, 91

Lorraine Schmidt Sokalowski, 91, “Aunt Lorraine,” of Kalispell, passed away at home (The Sok Ranch) Dec. 11, 2017.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Ted.

Lorraine and Ted were married in Chicago June 10, 1950, and moved to Marion shortly after. After several years they moved to Kalispell and named their property “The Sok Ranch.” Lorraine was a homemaker, gardener, and a “ranch hand” helping Ted. Aunt Lorraine loved to go to yard sales and hardly ever paid more than a quarter for her treasures.

Lorraine is survived by her niece, Susan King, of Clearwater, Florida; and her nephew, Robert King, of Kalispell. She also leaves behind her special care givers, Aurora, Bobby, Cedar, Donna, Jennifer, Kathy and Kay.
