Duane Louise Dickinson Latham, 100

Duane Louise Dickinson Latham born in Kalispell on July 2, 1917 died at the age of 100 on Dec. 15, 2017 in Sedona, Arizona.

She grew up in Kalispell and was her class president in both her junior and senior years. She was a Cherry Blossom Princess in 1938 and one of her proudest accomplishments was the State of Montana Declamation winner.

She attended the University of Washington, majoring in drama and English literature. She met her future husband Howard Latham at the University of Washington in which they celebrated over 70 years of marriage. They were longtime residents of Village of Oak Creek in Sedona. Duane spent her final years at the Sedona Winds Assisted Living.

She is survived by two of her children, Vicki Huddleston and Steve Latham. Two sons, Gary Latham and Jeff Latham, pre-deceased her. She has seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren who will greatly miss this strong and lovely woman. Her ashes will be interned at the Conrad Memorial Cemetery in Kalispell in the family plot. Psalms 23.
