Man in pj's spends night in lobby
Authorities picked up a man wearing his pajamas and no shoes on his porch after he was allegedly locked out of his apartment by his girlfriend because of an argument between the couple. According to the Kalispell Police Department, the man spent the night in the lobby of the police station after authorities were reportedly unable to contact his girlfriend.
Someone reported a husky who was sitting outside howling. The person who made the report reportedly believed the dog was howling because it was too cold. Upon further investigation, police discovered that the husky had access to a dog door and was free to enter the house at any time.
Police were called to pick up a bag of hair-care equipment off the street after a business owner allegedly threatened to throw them out if the owner did not retrieve them. The bag was taken back to the station until its owner was able to get it.
An allegedly lost dog was found and taken inside by someone who reportedly offered to keep it overnight until police found its owner. The person called again shortly after requesting an officer to transport the animal to the shelter after the dog reportedly attempted to destroy the person’s door.
A woman reported an unknown male had allegedly been knocking on her door for several minutes. Though the male had reportedly not acted aggressive in any way, the woman was unwilling to open the door. A neighbor later confirmed that the male was a pizza delivery driver looking for the correct address.
Someone called the Flathead Sheriff’s Office to report a doe with a bucket stuck on its face. The person claimed the deer’s vision was not impaired, and the deer reportedly bolted into the woods still wearing the bucket.
Another person was reportedly bitten by a feral cat. The alleged attack occurred when a business manager was trying to trap the animal.
An injured bobcat was reported in Whitefish after allegedly attacking a woman’s dogs. The woman claimed her dogs were bloody and said the bobcat was lying down and growled at her when she poked it with her foot.
Another Playstation 4 and an Xbox were reportedly stolen from a home in Kalispell. The homeowner allegedly came home to find the door kicked in and the items missing.
Someone reported a break in at the house of a friend after seeing a window shattered with the curtain hanging out. The person reportedly went inside to find “lots of stuff was missing.” Police entered the home and noted that it looked vacated.
A woman reportedly had not received her mail for several days and called police when she noticed that she and her neighbors’ mailboxes were open.
