A country at war

I don’t know about you, but I am so fed up with all this namby-pamby tears-in-the-eye nonsense about all these poor refugees!

Like a lot of people here in Montana, I voted for Trump because he spoke in plain common-sense terms and not all this political hogwash that we hear every election. He said he would put a ban on Muslims into this country, until we knew “just what the hell is going on.” Now he’s doing it and all the left-wing loons and snowflakes are all up in arms over his actions.

Even the director of the FBI had said, “There is no way possible that we can vet these people,” and yet Hollywood and the Crazy Left think it’s all right to bring these un-vetted people into our country. Hollywood sits behind their gated communities and cries because the big bad common everyday Americans don’t want these people in our country.

Those in Congress who represent the Looney Left live in their $810,000 homes in D.C. and don’t pay their taxes, and yet they cry foul over the actions of this president. We have 14 people dead in San Bernardino and I don’t remember how many dead in Orlando, Florida, and how many killed in the Boston Marathon? The two people responsible for the killings in San Bernardino had a 6-month-old baby that they left with a relative, so they could go off and kill “infidels” and we’re not supposed to vet these people? Give me a break!

I think if those in Congress were to ask the average person on the street, would they support a complete ban on Muslims and not just a 90- to 120-day freeze on travel from certain countries, the overwhelming answer would be YES! For too long we have allowed those in Congress to pretty well dictate terms and conditions to the American people. Now we have a populist in the White House and the cadre of professional politicians is going nuts, because of a common-sense approach to problems rather than a political approach to problems.

Not too long ago on the campus of Ohio State University, you had a young Muslim man drive his car on campus and try to run over people on the sidewalk. When he couldn’t do that effectively, he got out of his car and started stabbing people. Fortunately at the time, there was a campus police officer nearby who was able to shoot and kill this individual. The next day and the next week, you had crazy lefties out on the street protesting the killing of this “Poor Innocent Refugee” and wanting the police officer fired!

Just outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota, there is a large Somali enclave of Muslims. A few years ago, 17 of these young Muslims left the United States and joined the ISIS forces fighting in Iraq. They were identified by the U.S. Special Services assisting in that area, by fingerprints and blood typing. Today that enclave is somewhat similar to the very crappy conditions that existed in the country they left, and why? For two very big reasons: the indoctrination of the tribal culture in which they exist and the lack of education, command of the English language and technical skills in which to compete in this society. Yet over the past eight years, we have had an administration that didn’t give a damn about these glaring deficiencies and brought into our country mostly people of a tribal culture consisting of Muslims and an ideology that is completely different from Judeo-Christian teachings. The same can be said for the community of Hamtramck, Michigan — a community that is now almost 100 percent Muslim and has a City Council consisting of nothing but Muslims. Why? Because the residents within the city limits of Hamtramck, Michigan, were out-voted by an overwhelming population of Muslim refugees brought into this country. As a result, the City Council of Hamtramck, Michigan, now can impose aspects of “sharia law” upon its citizens.

There is nothing in the U.S. Constitution that says, “If you are not a U.S. citizen, you can still come into our country, just because you want to,” and yet the left seems to think that these people have “rights” that do not exist. The press, which is left-leaning, makes up stories about President Trump, but in this day and age, the truth doesn’t matter, just the objective. The false narrative put out by the press about the president’s travel ban stirred up the radical left to demonstrate in the airports about the “heartless Americans” who won’t let these poor refugees into our country. It is just like the story about the bust of Martin Luther King being removed from the Oval Office. The story was printed, and it was false. Yet it went out to every social-media outlet as factual until a one-line apology was printed. But the damage was done and the objective to de-legitimize the president was obtained.

There is a clear objective by certain groups within this country to bring about the total destruction of our republic. The idea that this nation today is a nation of immigrants is simply ridiculous. Since 1927 when this nation started to put the brakes on who we allowed into this country, we became Yankee-Doodle Americans, with our own set of independent ideas and dreams. That very independent thinking has led this country to be the envy of the world, for where else can you come to a country with nothing but an idea and an ambition to succeed and pursue your dreams? We are a generous nation, for we give more in foreign aid than all the other nations combined, but that doesn’t mean we have unlimited resources for everyone. We are now a nation of technical skills and have very little use for uneducated individuals in this country. We can no longer absorb people who cannot read or write or speak English any more than we can absorb goat herders or just plain manual laborers; those jobs have now gone to the robotic machines that operate within our industries.

We have a president today who has openly stated he is not opposed to immigrants, but those immigrants must assimilate into our culture and our customs, not the other way around. They must also bring into this country skills that can be applied immediately to pursue the American Dream and not be a burden upon our society by being a drain on our social services.

We are a nation that was born out of revolution. We are not a people who believe One Size Fits All. But now there’s an idea going around that everyone gets a trophy, whether they participate or not. First-place, second-place and third-place are not important any more. Drive and ambition to succeed independently are not acceptable in a multi-cultural society where everybody is supposed to be the same.

It is time to pull ourselves up by our bootstraps and get on with the job of being an independent America once again.
