SUV nearly hits car and guardrail

Kalispell Police Department responded to an SUV that was reportedly seen swerving all over the road, was slowing down and speeding up, nearly hit a vehicle head-on and almost hit a guardrail near Lakeside. The driver was believed to be driving under the influence.

A caller on First Avenue East reported that his tires had been slashed on Thursday.

A security guard reported that a man had been “jumped and beat up.” The victim had blood on his face, and was bleeding from his ears and head. He refused medical attention and did not wish to pursue charges.

A caller reportedly found a female on the ground outside of a local bar. The caller got her a cab and gave her a ride home. The woman was later taken to the hospital for a mental health evaluation.

Officers responded to a call that loud music had been playing at a residence on North Belmar Drive for about two hours. The caller reported that there were a lot of cars parked outside and that he could smell marijuana. Multiple juvenile suspects were picked up and taken home.

A caller on Glenwood Drive reported a noise disturbance and belived that a woman was screaming and hollering and dogs were barking.

A caller reported that a woman was going through parked cars on Hutton Ranch Road, though the caller noted that she didn’t appear to have taken anything from the vehicles.

A woman on Third Avenue East North reported that her cellphone was missing from her car. Her vehicle had been unlocked.

A woman on 13th Street West called the Columbia Falls Police Department to report that she believed there were people in her basement with a dog. Officer’s were unable to locate anyone else inside the woman’s home.

A caller requested assistance after reportedly finding a puppy with a trap on his leg while on a hike.

A caller reported that there was suspicious activity on Eighth Avenue West, where she believed people might be doing drugs in a pickup. The caller was advised that an extra patrol would do a sweep of the area.

A woman called the Whitefish Police Department to report that a dog that lives across the alley from her has been loose for about a week and reportedly “barks ferociously” at her and her children.

A caller on J P Road reported that a vehicle tried to run him off the road. The vehicle reportedly swerved into the caller’s lane, and he had to move to avoid a wreck.

A caller reported a party had been “going on all night” at a residence on Colorado Avenue. The caller stated that the resdience was a “known drug apartment,” and that she could hear loud, vulgar talk, thumping and slamming doors and “bathroom activity.”

A woman was admitted to the hospital after she was found sleeping in a vehicle.
