Panhandler hopes for Oscar nomination
A caller reported to Kalispell Police that a panhandler was doing different theatrical actions to each driver he encountered in front of a local restaurant. The reporting party said they felt “emotionally disturbed.” The caller stated the man was being “negatively theatrical” but could not describe the alleged gestures.
An individual called the Kalispell Police Department to report that a 12-year-old allegedly drugged them. The reporting party was unsure of what may have been used. They were allegedly slurring words and could not form sentences.
A driver reported a man in a gold four-door who allegedly asked the caller’s girlfriend if she needed a ride and offered her money.
A male reportedly came to a local residence and said he was a bondsman who had papers for an individual no longer living at that residence. The reporting party said the man allegedly tried to kick her cat and then charged her.
An individual allegedly witness a man leave a local store riding a scooter. Officers made contact with the male in question and found that everything in the cart was purchased and there was no theft involved. The store was reportedly OK with the man using the cart.
A caller asked for advice regarding a neighbor who allegedly sprayed their son in the face with hairspray. The reporting party was counseled.
A man was found sleeping in a men’s bathroom. The individual was moved along.
A man in custody for theft was allegedly being noncompliant, tried to run from the officers and was cuffed on the ground. The male was cited for theft and criminal trespass.
An individual contacted the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office to report their neighbor allegedly drove through their fence and yard and was parked at his own residence. The suspect later reportedly “tore out” of the driveway in a van.
A caller reported a railroad crossing arm was down and blocking one lane of traffic to the Whitefish Police Department. A crew was dispatched to repair the sign.
An individual in red shorts was reportedly yelling and screaming. An officer made contact with the male in question and reported he was just enjoying his music.
A caller reported a boat with seven passengers reportedly circling a swimmer closely on a local lake. An officer made contact with the boat in question and advised the individuals on board of the complaint.
A man reportedly went into a local bank and made threatening innuendos and theft complaints before leaving according to Columbia Falls Police Department dispatch logs. The subject allegedly left on his own accord.
A man contacted the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to report their neighbor was allegedly harassing them via text message over money allegedly owed and stated he would “hunt (the reporting party) down if it’s the last thing he does.” The officer contacted the landlord who reportedly agreed to stop communicating with the reporting party.
An individual reported their father took the keys to their vehicle and allegedly stabbed and cracked the windshield with a screwdriver. The reporting party was advised his complaint was civil in nature.
A female on a bike allegedly wearing a face mask was reportedly taking photos of an individual’s home and vehicles. When questioned, the female reportedly denied taking any photos and filmed the conversation with the officer on her cellphone.
