Richard Allen Baars, 64

Richard Allen Baars, 64, passed away July 23, 2017, in Kalispell.

He was born July 12, 1953, and had been a resident of Kalispell for over 35 years.

He is survived by his spouse, Coleen Baars; two sons, Richard “Rick” and Robert “Bob” Baars; and three grandchildren, Jordan, Kyan, Scarlett.

Richard A. Baars was born in Hendricks, Minnesota. He was the eldest of 11 siblings and is survived by seven sisters and three brothers.

Richard was a passionate family man, avid outdoor enthusiast, student and teacher of life, eager to give, serve and love all who crossed his path. He welcomed all with a soft smile and warm embrace, his life will be celebrated and memories of him will be treasured by many near and far.

A simple memorial service will be held to honor Rich at 1 p.m. Friday, July 28, at the Canvas Church, in the lower chapel, 255 Summit Ridge Drive, Kalispell.
