Whitefish has risen to the top of another “best of” list — this time earning praise for its mountain and lake vistas.

The travel website Culture Trip recently compiled a list of the most beautiful towns to visit in each U.S. state and Whitefish was named the “most beautiful town in Montana.”

Culture Trip lauded Whitefish as: “A must-visit location, especially for those who love to ski, due to it’s location near the Glacier National Park.”

Other towns in the West to make the list include: Lander, Wyoming; Idaho Falls, Idaho; Prosser, Washington; Springdale, Utah, Hood River, Oregon; and Crested Butte, Colorado.

Each winner was selected by an in-house editorial team and local editorial experts. Culture Trip touts itself as one of the leading travel brands on Facebook with more than 3 million followers.
